From your PTO:
We are a couple months into the year and we are very busy rolling out the Arts & Education programs that directly supplement the programs the teachers are running in the classrooms. These programs are fully subsidized by the PTO and your donations. Your donations also cover a large percentage of our special events such as the annual Blanchard v. Stony Brook basketball game and the 8th grade celebration. These programs will not happen without your help!
So, let's put the FUN into fundraiser. Why is this fun? Because you only need to make one donation to the WMSPTO No-Fuss Fundraiser and you are done. If we can hit our goal of $25,000 before 12/31, we will not ask you again. No one wants to ask for money and no one wants to be asked. So, please let's make the rest of the year fun and let us stop asking for your help!
Suggested donation: $50 per student or $80 per family. Does your company have a matching gift program? Double your gift!
How to Donate
Download this form and send it with a check via USPS to WMSPTO, PO Box 625, Westford, MA 01886 OR drop it off in the school office and we will pick it up!
All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of all funds support the WMSPTO programs and activities.
Win a Prize! An anonymous and generous donor has given us an Echo Dot to give to one lucky donor this year - thank you, anonymous person! Our fiscal year begins July 1 so all donors between July 1 and December 1 are eligible - this will make a fantastic holiday gift for you or a teacher (it is under that magic $50 mark) ---- get your donations in!
Donate Your Shoes!
Both middle schools are collecting gently-used, wearable pairs of shoes this year for a fundraising program called ShoeBox Recycling. Donated shoes are shipped around the world for resale and reuse. Our schools earn $20 for each filled box of shoes! This money goes directly toward funding our many activities, including arts and education programs. We are also partnering with The Mary's Community Thrift Store to increase our schools' profits.
Shoes must be in wearable condition, without holes in the soles, cannot be wet or mildewed, and must have shoelaces if they are necessary for the shoe to function.
Types of shoes ACCEPTED: Almost all types of gently used shoes including adult and children's casual shoes, dress shoes, athletic shoes, boots, work boots, and sandals.
Types of shoes NOT ACCEPTED: Shoes in need of repair, wet or mildewed shoes, heavy winter boots, ski boots, roller skates, rollerblades, ice skates, flip flops, Crocs and bedroom slippers.
To help, please drop off gently-used, wearable shoes in the school lobbies. And thanks!
