Advisor: Mrs. Karen Sacco
We are pleased to announce the cast list for the Blanchard Theatre Arts (formally Blanchard Performing Arts) production of Myth Adventures: Five Greek Classics by Eric Coble. Just a couple of notes about casting:
- There are several actors/actresses with two smaller roles, as opposed to one larger role. Also please keep in mind the old saying, “There are no small roles, just small actors.”
- Some of the male characters will be played by females. In the original production of this show, there were only six actors who played ALL of the characters – and most of the male characters were played by females. It will certainly be a challenge for you!
OK, so now the cast is set....what next?!?
- Please pick up a script from Mrs. Sacco in room 12 as soon as possible.
- Read through the script to become familiar with the play.
- Get to know your character (there are a lot of great websites online with information about Greek mythology).
- The entire cast MUST be present at the read-through on Thursday, February 4th. The read-through will take place in the auditorium until late buses.
- If you do NOT have a copy of the rehearsal schedule, please see Mrs. Sacco.
We'd like to thank everyone for auditioning. You are a talented group! We are so excited for this production!
