Welcome to the Lloyd G. Blanchard Middle School!
The Lloyd G. Blanchard Middle School is a dynamic learning community serving students in grades 6 through 8. Originally opened in 1969 as the district's junior high and named in honor of the dedicated Westford educator Lloyd G. Blanchard, our school remains committed to supporting the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of the early adolescent.

As one of Westford’s two middle schools, Blanchard serves as a vital bridge between the elementary years and Westford Academy. Our mission is to provide a supportive and challenging environment where students are encouraged to explore their interests, develop a strong sense of self, and practice the core values of integrity and perseverance.
Our facility is designed to support a team-based approach to learning, featuring specialized science labs, a modern media center, and robust fine arts and athletic spaces. We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential during these transformative years, and we invite our families to join us in fostering a community of "Blanchard Bulldogs" who are prepared for the challenges of high school and beyond.
